Each month, Faculty/Staff at Archbishop Bergan Middle/High School will recognize one Middle School student and one High School student who exemplify the Knight Code.
January
Owen Pruss: Owen has been an exemplary student in 8th Grade Art this semester. He consistently shows up to class eager to learn, is always prepared, and his work ethic is unmatched. Owen is a young man who asks questions to gain a deeper level of understanding, often cleans up well beyond what he is responsible for - without having to be asked, and has shown tremendous improvement in his quality of work. Owen's attitude, effort and leadership in the classroom are commendable and he is well-deserving of this recognition.
Garrison Mendlik: Even though Garrison misses a few classes due to extracurricular activities, he always gets caught up in a timely fashion. Garrison is always prepared for class, stays organized, respectful to his peers and teacher, follows all directions, isn't a distraction to others, work is completed on time, and is an active learner that participates in class.
February
Jack Guthmann: Jack is a gifted student who uses every minute of class to maximize his learning experience. He consistently helps other students in class, hands in assignments on time, and goes beyond what is required by teachers. Jack does all of this with a positive attitude, smile on his face, and genuine care for others. He encapsulates what it means to be a true Bergan Knight.
Ayden Weier: Ayden has taken a great approach to his computer classes this semester. He has been very active in getting his work done ahead of time so that he is finished with the work way before graduation. His attitude towards the class and work are awesome. He is very driven and has made great strides in getting good grades in class and accomplishing completion of the class. He has been great to have in class this semester with his work ethic and attitude, towards the class and his classmates.
