BERGAN VOLLEYBALL TEAM HOSTS A FUNDRAISER FOR PEDIATRIC CANCER & A MEET THE TEAM NIGHT
The Bergan Volleyball team is Diggin’ for Jace to spike out pediatric cancer! At age 14 months, Jace Knoell was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma – Stage 4 High Risk. He has undergone several rounds of chemotherapy and radiation as well as several lengthy hospital stays. Jace is a FIGHTER just like the Fighting Knight he is! The Bergan Volleyball team has sold t-shirts to show their support to this great Bergan family and help them make a donation toward Pediatric Cancer Research. These shirts will be worn at the team’s home games on Tuesday, October 21st, and they encourage everyone to wear yellow at these games in support of Pediatric Cancer Research.
Students who do not attend Bergan High School have a chance to Meet the Team on October 21st as well. Participants will sit in on the team’s prayer service at 4:30pm and eat pizza in between the games. They will meet Coach Painter and the players, and are invited to sit right behind the players’ bench during the games at 5:30pm and 7:30pm to cheer them on! Please RSVP to 402-721-1846 or email Kathy.firstname.lastname@example.org.
Remember to wear yellow!
