August HS/MS Knight's Code Award

Hannah Frost and Keegan Sullivan were awarded the Knight's Code Student of the Month today. Every month two students are nominated-one middle school student and one high school student. The staff at Bergan base their nominations on expectations set by the Knight's Code matrix.

Students who win these awards are presented their awards during the weekly prayer service. They receive a certificate and a reward that is provided by the Parent Knights. This year besides the students of the month awards, there will also be students of the quarter and semester.

This month Mr. Marolf and Mr. Mlnarik nominated Keegan and Hannah for their exemplary behavior and dedication in the classroom.

Mr. Marolk wrote in his nomination, "Keegan has been a very hard-working, creative and motivated member of the 8th-grade art class this quarter. In the three weeks since classes began, Keegan has stood out by asking questions to gain a deeper understanding of the material and giving his best effort on a daily basis."

Mr. Mlnarik wrote that Hannah Frost "is always well organized, prepared and completes her work to the best of her ability.  In class she is actively engaged, positively contributing in all learning activities and is always willing to help others.  Hannah is a very talented and self-motivated math student who has challenged herself as a learner by participating in the Bergan High Math Club for the past two years.  Hannah is a great student and role model here at Archbishop Bergan High School."

Congrats to Keegan and Hannah!
