Important Community Update - Prayers for all those being Impacted by The Flooding

What can I do to help [update]?

Thank you to everyone who have been reaching out with your support of time, talent, and treasure. You are a true gift to the community and sign of God’s presence in the world. The most important thing we all can do through all of this is to keep praying.

Many families will be displaced for a significant amount of time before the water recedes. They will be in need of lodging other than the shelter. Please call 402-721-6611 if you are willing to be a host family. Please call the same number if you are in need of assistance and we will work to assist you in your need. We will do our best to connect families in need with families who are willing to help. The arrangements after that will be up to both parties to coordinate.

Yesterday we sent out a note with a list of needed items along with the shelter locations where you could drop off your items for donation. The items are still needed but the drop off locations were just reduced to one location this morning. Volunteers are still needed as well. Both volunteers and donations will be coordinated from the same location. Go to Clarmar School at 1865 E 19th Street to register as a volunteer or to drop off items.

Funds can be donated directly either to St. Patrick Parish or United Way. All the funds collected at St. Patrick will be given to United Way unless the donor designates something different. For online giving or direct mail use one of the avenues below:
