Class of 2020 Senior Spotlight - Zoe Waage

Zoe Waage

My favorite teacher is Mr. Wojtkiewicz because he helped me get out of my comfort zone in all my school work and he always listened to what I had to say. The atmosphere in his classes was always welcoming and I learned more from him than most teachers.

My favorite class was speech class because I’m a shy person and that class helped me overcome some of my fears in life. The class helped me create work that I was proud of and let me reflect who I am through the assignments.

My favorite memory at Bergan was all the Friday night football games I got to cheer at with all my fellow cheer girls. I will forever cherish the moments I got to wear my Bergan cheer uniform with some of the best people I’ve ever met. The atmosphere and laughs we shared made me feel like home.

After graduation, I plan on attending Capitol School of Hairstyling and Esthetics to grow in my journey to become a makeup artist. I hope to make many people feel beautiful in their own skin

My senior year was the happiest year of my life. It was filled with my last moments to wear my cheer and dance uniform and my last moments in some of my favorite classes. I created so many memories that I will keep with me forever with some of the best people in my life. Though my senior year didn't go as planned at the end, I am so grateful for every moment I had left at Bergan. I will miss all the football games, basketball games, walking through the hallways every day to see my best friends, and most of all the opportunities I got the chance to have. I had an amazing journey and experience to grow up with my fellow classmates since I was in pre-school at Bergan. I made amazing friends and forever great memories with them all. Thank you for everything.
