Do you serve breakfast?
We do not serve breakfast but we allow families to bring breakfast for their children. They are allowed to eat until 8:30 am when classes begin. We encourage families to bring a healthy breakfast including at least 2 food groups. We are happy to help the children prepare their breakfast.

How do you handle allergies?
We are happy to work with families if their children have allergies. We have CPR/First Aid certified staff and work with families create medical plans so staff and children are prepared if there is an allergy emergency.

What are the hours available?
We are open from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. We are closed on major holidays and follow the Principal’s decision for inclement weather.

What are your rates?
There are various programs that are offered at various rates. Please call the center at 402-721-9710 for current rates and plans.

Does my child have to be potty trained?
Yes. In order for a child to attend the center they must be 100% potty trained. We do not have the proper equipment or space to change pull-ups or diapers.

What are your adult to child ratios?
3 year olds have a 1:10 ratio, 4-5 year olds have a 1:12 ratio, school age students have a 1:15 ratio

Does your center use a curriculum?
Yes, we use the Mother Goose Curriculum in the center, and Play to Learn Curriculum in Preschool.

Our Director and Preschool Teacher are both certified teachers focusing on letter recognition, social development and faith.

How do you collect payments?
We are a pre-paid program that accepts cash, check, or electronic payments with the Brightwheel App. Our plans are a flat weekly rate that is due the Friday before the week of care.

What ages can receive care at the center?
The Archbishop Bergan Early Childhood Education Center educates youth ages 3, 4, and 5. We are not offering care for birth through two years old at this time. There is no anticipated date for when we begin offering care to children younger than 3 years of age and potty trained.
