Little Knights Preschool

About Us

Bergan Catholic Little Knights Preschool is located at 450 E 4th Street in the Bergan Catholic Early Childhood Education Center on Bergan's Downtown Campus on the corner of 4th & Union streets.

The preschool curriculum follows the Nebraska Early Learning Guidelines: Science, Creative Arts, Social & Emotional Development, Approaches to Learning, Health & Physical Development, Language & Literacy Development, and Mathematics.

We focus the majority of the day on social and emotional development. When young children are able to understand their feelings as well as the feelings of others, they can learn better. We work on sharing, taking turns, and following directions. To help our preschoolers grow their social and emotional skills, we use educational activity centers to give these young learners the chance to practice these valuable skills.

In your opinion, what is the absolute best thing about Archbishop Bergan Catholic School? I grew up with a Catholic education and I appreciate it so much more now. I am happy to be around such amazing teachers that want to share their love for our Lord with the students. I am very excited to bring my own children up in such a family oriented school and church.
