In your opinion, what is the absolute best thing about Archbishop Bergan Catholic School? Archbishop Bergan Catholic School exists to instill a passion, as exemplified by Christ, for faith, knowledge, and service. One of the best things about teaching at Bergan is this mission statement. Our mission statement reminds us that at the center of everything we do is Christ. It is truly amazing to teach in an environment like this! We are a family helping one another grow both spiritually and academically.

English 7 focuses on continuing to develop and strengthen writing, grammar and spelling skills by implementing the writing process, the six (6) Traits of Writing, and the Write Tools into daily writing as well as formal compositions.
Literature Circles, novels, short stories, and non-fiction text are used to increase the student's vocabulary and teach the following reading strategies: Predicting, visualizing, connecting, questioning, clarifying, and evaluating.
